One Month Into Season One

We are one month into our inaugural season. After one month we are starting to dial everything in. Thanks to help from Dave we have Stats+ integration both here to the website and also to our Discord server. Our Major League owner roster is full, and we have 7 of 18 Mexican League teams filled. The Mexican League has been a great active waiting list, as we have lost a couple of our Opening Day owners, and those slots were immediately filled by players in the LMB. Not only is it a great waiting list, but some of our MLB owners are pulling double duty and running teams in both leagues. If you’re one of our Major League owners, and you’re interested in also controlling a Mexican League team, send me a message. Continue reading “One Month Into Season One”

Traded: Robinson Cano to Washington

(Washington) – Former 8x All-Star and 5x Silver Slugger Award Winner Robinson Cano was traded by the New York Mets to the Washington Nationals. In exchange for Cano (plus 40% of his contract), Luis Guillorme & Khalil Lee, the Metropolitans received relief pitcher Kyle Finnegan.  It is likely that Cano will be expected to sure up the middle of the Nationals’ infield and add age & experience to a Washington franchise that has been nearly completely retooled since it’s 2019 World Series run.  Getting rid of $28million in salary over the next two years gives the Mets quite a few options.

Will the Mets continue to make moves early in the season to make a run at the 2022 NL East? Or will the salary dump continue, to give the team a big bag of money to take into extensions & free agency? The next two or three sim sessions will likely answer that question.

Faraday Baseball Expands It’s Universe: Adds Mexican League to Network

(Providence, RI) – Faraday Sports Management has acquired the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol whole cloth, and have put all 18 franchises on the market. FSM CEO Paul Miles said, “I’m excited to bring the LMB into the Faraday baseball universe. Presenting the Mexican League to a broader audience will only do positive things for baseball. Wider audiences, more opportunities for players and personnel. I am excited to see storied franchises like the Diablo Rojos and Sultanes be introduced to baseball fans here, north of the border”.
